I dare you
To tell me to be something I'm not
Go on, say it
Tell me to hide the truth
From all of those I love
I dare you
To tell me to grow up
Go on, say it
Tell me I'm childish
Because you're so much more mature than me
I dare you
To tell me who I can and cannot love
Go on, say it
Tell me that loving certain people is wrong
Because your way of thinking is so right
I dare you
To tell me I'm not normal
Go on, say it
Tell me that I'm different
Even though you and I are both humans
You could do all of that
In a heartbeat if you wanted to
But here's a real challenge:
I dare you
To accept everyone for who they are
Not for who you want them to be
And to leave your judging gavel
At home for once
To tell me to be something I'm not
Go on, say it
Tell me to hide the truth
From all of those I love

I Will Believe That You're Okay...
If you tell me you're fine,
Then I won't question it.
I won't ask you about the cuts,
Or the bruises.
I'll turn a blind eye to everything...
Instead I'll ask that you join me tonight,
And maybe we'll cook ourselves a little supper.
Maybe you'd like to stay over? It'd be cool!
We'll watch a movie, play a few games.
C'mon you know how much I suck at monster hunter,
Be my wingman--er, lady tonight
And in the morning, let's go for a walk,
There's a huge park just a short distance away.
We could go on one of those nature trail things!
Hell yeah? Hell yeah!
And maybe, after you've had some time to think,
You'll see that things ain't quite a

Awareness.
She writes such lovely poems
But nobody really cares
She hides them all the time
To avoid the judging stares
She wrote one yesterday
About a boy who said he loved her
But to her own dismay
She caught him with another
She wrote one about school
And the words painted on her locker
“No one likes you, stupid bitch.
You’re lucky I’m at soccer.”
She wrote about her parents
And how she wished they were together
But she knows that won’t ever happen
And forgetting’s probably better
Yes, she writes such lovely poems
But there’s so much more to this
See, her pencil is a razor
And the paper is her wrist.

I'll Tell My Secrets To The Moon
So long as you furnish me with a window
And a steel frame bed in a corner of a room
I’ll endeavour to keep the pane transparent
To give my eyes a crystal clear view of the moon
Regardless of what phase you are going through
Whether it be half, crescent, full, blue or new
You have never once shown me your dark side
But so many times I have shown mine to you
But tranquillity can be seen on a clear night
Tides roll through my veins as thoughts flood to my pen
Of all the ancestors that have gone before me
Who've had the same moon looking down over them
So long as you furnish me with a window
And a steel frame bed in a corner of a room
Yo

I had writer's block for a little while but I think I've gotten over it for now lol. Anyways, people these days. I know I say that a lot, but it's true! Some of the people I've met are the most judgmental and unaccepting human beings this world has to offer. And I say that with all due to respect. I've met some people who have told me to be someone different because they didn't like the ugly truth. Some have told me to act differently because they didn't like my behavior. And the list goes on.
Can we all just make a little promise right here saying that we won't judge others and we'll accept them? *raises hand* I promise

This sends a really good message out there, it's heart breaking some people act like this judging people, but your poem shows we have to stand up, fight back, show we have some type of rule even if we are selves don't see it. I love this so much! Keep up the good work!
Also, I did a poem myself, and I want your opinion on if it's good or not.
Awesome work, keep it up!!!
